Step 1

Toilet BrushPurchase a toilet brush that is of medium to long length. Do not purchase a short toilet brush. This way when you clean the toilet your hands and arms will not come into contact with any of the contaminated toilet surface.

Step 2

Purchase a good quality antibacterial hand soap that contains Triclosan which is the main antibacterial ingredient.

Step 3

Flush the toilet a few times in a row to start cleaning with a fresh base.

Step 4

Antibacterial SoapPour roughly one eighth of a cup of the antibacterial soap into the toilet bowl water.

Step 5

Take the toilet cleaning sponge and turn the liquid soap in the bottom of the toilet into froth by moving the toilet brush in a plunging motion to agitate the liquid soap. Do this until there is a bit of froth in the toilet bowl.

Step 6

Now use the brush and the soap froth to vigorously clean the inside of the toilet bowl making sure to remove all stains.

Step 7

Flush the toilet once more while holding the toilet brush so it does not fall in.

Step 8

Repeat steps 4 through 7 one more time to ensure the toilet is thoroughly cleaned.

Step 9

Rinse the toilet brush in the sink with very hot water before putting it back in its holder.
