How to Cure Insomnia and Sleep Normally

Bed Insomnia          Insomnia is a terrible condition that is often ignored and not properly diagnosed. Insomnia is the condition of not being able to sleep in a timely manner. Insomnia also entails waking up several times per night with the inability to easily fall back asleep. Insomnia can prevent you from being productive and energetic during the day because you did not get a full night’s sleep. Lack of sleep can also contribute to depression. Follow these steps to cure insomnia on your own and restore a more peaceful and restful sleeping experience.




Step 1

Supplement with a little melatonin. Melatonin is neurotransmitter that regulates circadian rhythms in humans. Some insomniacs suffer from low melatonin production at night. Try a little melatonin before you go to bed at night to help you fall asleep fast.

Step 2

Milk for InsomniaHeat a little milk with some honey in a saucepan and drink it before bed at night. Warm milk helps many people fall asleep at night.







Step 3

Stop exercising late in the evening. Instead try to exercise early in the day or before 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Excercising in the evening is a common cause of insomnia and inability to fall asleep at a reasonable hour at night. The reason for this is that exercise puts the body in a heightened state of activity and blood flow. This condition makes insomnia worse by making the body take longer to feel tired.

Reduce StressReduce stress in your daily life. Many insomniacs complain of severe stress in their lives. Often stress can keep people from falling asleep because the mind is constantly running through different thoughts. If the mind is preoccupied at night then it will have a hard time shutting itself down to go to bed.



Step 5

Green teaDo not drink many liquids and water immediately before bedtime. Excess fluid intake at night may make you wake up in the middle of the night with the urge to go to the bathroom. This may then cause you to have a hard time falling back asleep.






Step 6

Avoid caffeine after 5 o’clock in the evening. Caffeine is a stimulant and will most definitely prevent you from falling asleep if you consume it at night.
